Environmental
Cortek Drilling has been a leader in providing cost-effective environmental drilling solutions to the upstream oil and gas industry since 2004. We have worked on thousands of sites over the last five years and our equipment and personnel are top of the class in obtaining high-quality soil samples, efficient monitoring well installation and getting it done on sites most others can’t get to. Cortek can now provide monitoring well installation into bedrock through the use of DTH (down the hole hammer) technology.

Geotechnical
Cortek Drilling purchased our first auto drop hammer in 2007 to perform SPT’s and then added two more in 2008 to enable Cortek to offer three tracked geotech units. Our units can get to places where most others can’t and when we get there we provide an efficient investigatory service utilizing our extended mast, winches, tooling sled and ATV’s.

Geophysical (Vertical Conductivity)
Cortek Drilling can employ a vertical conductivity probe which is used to collect real time Electrical Conductivity readings. This is an efficient method of gathering soil salinity information for vertical delineation of salt plumes. It is a very effective tool when used in conjunction with Electromagnetic Surveys.
