Unit 201
Our truck mounted AMS PowerProbe was converted to a high track unit in 2007. This drill has two speed track system and is capable of speeds up to 10 km/hr on flat terrain. It has two winches, 84 inch stroke and a 17 foot mast. It is designed for geotechnical drilling with a permanently mounted autodrop hammer for SPT. The hydraulic top drive puts out over 5000 ft/lbs of torque allowing us to drill and install wells to over 20 metres. This unit can also set up with a down the hole hammer to install wells into bedrock.

Unit 202
Track Mounted AMS Powerprobe VTR – Pro This unit has an 84” inch stroke with a 12 foot mast to allow for indoor drilling. This drill comes fully equipped for Environmental Drilling with 20 metres of both solid stem and hollow stem augers as well a full complement of direct push tooling.

Unit 203
This unit is designed for shallower investigations. It is a very effective tool for sub surface investigations of less than 10 metres in most soil conditions. It weighs only 4000 kg but has 3000 ft/lbs of torque and lots of direct push capabilities.

Unit 205 & 206
These units are identical. Added to the fleet in the summer of 2006, both were given mast extensions to allow them to be competitive in the geotechnical drilling world. Auto drop hammers are available for each of these units and both units can be set up with a down the hole hammer for bedrock drilling.

Unit 208
Available in August of 2008, this small direct push drill is mounted on the back of John Deere Gator and is designed to be transported in two lifts of less than 1500 lbs. It can also be used for pipeline assessments, pre-disturbance assessments, sump viability investigations, pipeline spills. Or for any other projects that require cost-effective sub-surface sampling.
